Have you tried Caladryl, or whatever it's called? It works for me http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif

Pure aloe vera gel is my answer. Caladryl, cortisone, etc. wear off for me. Aloe seems to work the best.

Fruit of the Earth is the brand I use. Find it at Target, K-Mart, Eckerd, just about anywhere.

I feel your pain. The mosquitos seem to be especially bad down here this year. Benadryl anti-itch spray is my new best friend.

No, ya'll dont understand misquitos. HOUSTON is the capital of misquito bites. After all the flooding, theres standding water everywhere. its a giant misquito nursery. I have never been anyplace were they were out in THE MIDDLE OF THE DAY, when it was 100 degrees. Damnedest thing ever. I thoughtr they were only supposed to be out at night and dusk. Not H-Town.

Yeah, I understand the Houston thing. My older sister lives there, and the mosquitos are the size of small dogs! Anyhow, in addition to using bug spray, get a bug zapper. Not only do they work, but the more alcohol you drink, the more entertaining they become! http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif

Wheee! I agree with the bug zapper! I love those things!

I'm totally gettin' eaten alive every night here...we bought my mom a swing for the backyard for her b-day and we sit out on it most nights....but when I wake up (in the middle of the night) I am soooo very itchy!!! My advice is aloe gel....that stuff rules! I use it for mosquito bites, sunburns, etc. It is the best! http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/biggrin.gif

No kidding. I saw one carrying off a small child while I was there.

I think the big ones stand on the ground and push the small ones through the holes in the screen windows.

They are so big in houston, you can hear them pant when they land on you. http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif
