Recruitment Consultant

Hey all I recently graduated from USF with my B.A. in Sociology =) yay Anyways i recently applied for a position with our headquarters and I have my phone interview tomorrow and im mildly freaking out!!! I was wondering if anyone is a recruitment consultant for their sorority/fraternity and any more information they could give me about it. I've read the requirements and such but that only tells you so much. I'd really like to hear more personal stories about recruitment consultants. Any info anyone can give me would be greatly appreciated! Thanks all and hope you have a Happy Holidays!:)

I thought this was going to be a thread about independent consultants, like a pageant consultant... but for recruitment. They do exist. I don't know why people pay them.

I thought the same thing too.

In the OP's case, Alpha Gam calls her volunteers "Recruitment Specialists".

AOII changed its structure some time ago. We no longer have traveling chapter consultants (CCs). The recruitment specialist duties were replaced with permanent paid staff positions called Membership Recruitment Consultants. The other duties normally performed by a CC were integrated into the duties of the Collegiate Network Specialists. The CNSs are volunteers.

AOQTII...how did it go!? I'm sure you did fine. I wonder how many people they actually have apply for this job. The CC jobs used to be pretty popular I think, or at least I thought they were because I wanted to be a CC! Alas, I had to start med school so no CC job for me!

So if anyone knows of any good apts in the brentwood/nashville/franklin/antioch area please let me know, i'm having the hardest time finding a decent apt and then reading all sorts of nasty things about it on other websites! Congrats Jennifer! Good luck finding an apartment, I'm sure with all of the AOIIs in the area it won't be hard to get some recommendations on where to live. Roses!!!
