Which Do You Prefer?
 

Since our pins are among (if not the) most diverse, I was wondering which do you prefer:

White Gold or
Yellow Gold?

Do you wear one all of the time, or do you mix it up a bit?

My original badge is yellow gold, and that's the one I wear. But all my jewelry is yellow gold with very few exceptions. I think I've worn a white gold one once when I couldn't find mine! I also wear my husband's fraternity pin, and it's yellow gold.

I like the white gold b/c I rarely wear yellow gold. However, our chapter was never successful with white gold orders. Inevitably, the order got mixed up and by the time new sisters received their badges, they just wanted to wear them!

I prefer white gold, but I ordered yellow gold because I wanted it to be as traditional as possible. The order got mixed up and I ended up with white gold.

I prefer white gold. When I ordered my first badge, white gold wasn't an option, so my 1st is in yellow gold. My second badge, I choose my birthstone to be the stone and it's aquamarine and I just felt that it "popped" more with yellow gold than white gold, so I got a yellow gold badge and guard.

Everything is I own is white gold except for my adpi ring which was passed down to me by a friend's mom. At jewelry stores I won't look at the yellow gold stuff unless it is a setting that works with the piece. Anyways my badge is alternating pearl and saphire and I'm looking at the crown diamond one.

My initiation pin is white gold, with pearls & sapphire points. It and a pair of my grandmother's diamond earrings are the only white gold things I own. Even most of my dangles are yellow gold. I get so torn about possibly wearing a yellow gold pin more than my initiation pin, yet when I wear it to an event, I'm using both white & yellow gold, which isn't "me". EXiADPi, I'd love to see your crown diamond pin, when you get it!

BTW, I have a yellow gold pearled chapter guard - I think it's BH - if anyone's interested. As it is, my little sister has twin daughters, and I've offered both (and their little sister) a pin, IF they go ADPi!

My original badge was yellow gold, but when I got a new one this year I went with white gold. I *almost* never wear yellow gold - all my jewelry is mainly white gold or silver, because I just don't think yellow gold looks good on me. :)
