Panhellenic

Just wondering how many people were involved with their Panhellenic Council on campus. I was just elected President and it has been a really great experience for me. Any thoughts?

I was Panhellenic Editor for 3 years. If I had to make one suggestion, it would be to remember that each sorority has its own identity, yet in our diversity, we are all the same.

I think that's a fancy way of saying to play fair, not to play favorites.

I am the outgoing secretary! And it's been exciting! A trip to Atlanta (finally) meeting the National Presidents of some sororities, bonding with women outside of your chapter, helping women go through recruitment and seeing them go to their home, getting to see what goes on for extension, etc. There are tons of benefits, it's been amazing.

I served on Panhellenic Judidcial Board for 2 years. Something to remember is that once you are on Panhellenic, your job is to further the system as a whole, and act in the best interest of all groups-not just your individual sorority.

I was my chapter's Panhel rep for a year... same year I was a rho chi. Meeting and working with women from all the different sororities was quite an experience.

I was Panhellenic Vice President of Ethics for a year.

Totally agree!

I am the outgoing Chief Justice at my school, and I can honestly say working with my Panhellenic Council was such a great experience!

It really prepared me to work with other groups, and in hindsight, evaluate the successes and needs of my own organization. I was on the other side of decision making, where I learned how even the smallest issues can impact an entire community. And most of all, I can say that my experience on Panhellenic will definitely make me a better alumna because I understand and appreciate what Greek life does and can do for so many men and women. :) I'm so excited for you and all of the experiences you will have in the future!

And I think Babypink is my secretary, lol!

I am the current Panhellenic President at my campus. I would be more than happy to share my insights, advice, and cautionary tales ;) if you would like; please feel free to PM me!
