Need ideas from college girls
 

I'm flying out West to visit my son at college and will meet his girlfriend for the first time. Her birthday is the week I'm there so I'd like to take a little ($20) gift. Besides a gift card, what would you girls like these days? She's in a sorority, Sigma Kappa, but I don't know their symbols and creatures (like owls, crowns, keys etc.) I know their color is purple. Help a Momma out please. What is "cool" these days?

Lavender and Maroon, though many of us use purple because it goes well with both (sometimes!)

I don't know what's cool these days. I didn't know then and I doubt I do now. A heart shaped pillow or something would be cute... Or a silver necklace with a heart or dove on it.
