WACKY TACKY CHRISTMAS PARTY COSTUME IDEAS
Please provide some cute Christmas costume ideas for a couple going to a sorority's "Wacky Tacky Christmas Party" Be original.
Thanks |
Wrap yourself in tinfoil and go as a strand of tinsel.
That kind of idea? ETA: Hey Mods, can we get a move to the Social forum? I'd hate for a PNM to think that someone's Rush Theme is Wacky Tacky Christmas.;) |

I wouldn't spend the $130 they want for this on-line - but I think with craft foam it would be pretty easy to replicate for far less. |
Herbie the Elf and Yukon Cornelius.

dress up like a grandma and then paint hoof prints on your back. The other person could be the reindeer.
|
I second the move.
And I love the Grandma idea!!! You can never go wrong with the bunny costume Ralphie wore in A Chistmas Story. Not sure what the other person could be though.... |
maybe randy in the snowsuit that won't let you put your arms down?

It's the present feet that do it for me.

I was thinking along the lines of those great tacky appliqued blinged up sweaters, kitschy dangle earrings, horned rim glasses, stirrup pants for her....
polyester pants and cosby christmas sweater for him with a comb over :) :) and a garland "scarf" around his neck Think SNL skit material |
oohh, sansabelt pants for him....be still my heart!
sageofages, love your suggestions! |

What about wrapping yourself in holiday themed paper and putting a big bow on your head? |
I'm going to a "Bad Holiday Sweater Shebang" next weekend! Everyone attending the party has to wear a god-awful holiday sweater/vest/tie and the ugliest one wins a prize!

My husband actually took a picture of me when I was opening it. He caught that split-second look of WTF before I covered it with a smile and thank-you. I had to distroy the photo before the MIL found it! |
