BASH TEXAS EVENT!!

So I heard from my chapter advisor that we used to do this event called Bash Texas. It was once a year held in Austin for somebody's game versus UT and all the Sigma Nus in the State of Texas would meet in Austin and have a killer party and go up and down 6th street. Do yall think this would be something we could do? I know that College of Chapters will occur in Austin this summer and maybe as a rush event we could go to UT and have that party for the colonizing chapter. I don't know, but it sounds kind of fun. What do yall think?

Sounds awesome. I'd get HQ's Director of Expansion in on it though.

Definitely do-able. Especially if done when college of chapters goes to Austin. That would be a HUGE rush tool for Texas chapters involved.

I just remembered -- my chapter's creation was first announced at the '99 College of Chapters. Maybe starting a new chapter at each college of chapters should be a tradition?

Maybe so, I was talking to one of my brothers that was on the board of regents and he said that there were not any plans to go to Austin to restart UT's chapter, because it was picked two years ago to have it at Austin. But he did say that there was probably a good chance we are doing it in Austin to use all the Texas Alums.

Ahh. Well, that sucks.

btw, how do we sign up for college of chapters? Because I think just about all our fraternity will be up there.

Eventually a web page will be available.

Or maybe you can call HQ and get a list or something?

College of Chapters, for me was a hell of a good time. I was at the '01 one in Lexington, VA.
