Black Friday Deals

So who has been out shopping for great deals today?

My husband went to Circuit City at 4am this morning to get a deal on an LCD flatscreen TV. The kids have been playing their playstation games on it all morning. It looks awesome!

The only thing remotely related to shopping that I have done today was go to the supermarket to buy bottled water and cereal.

I did swing by a store on that shopping center, but did not find anything I wanted, so I left.

We went to Target early to get South Park season 10 for 14.98. I also got both seasons 1 & 2 of Rome for 50% off at Best Buy.

That is the extent of my shopping for today.

Best Buy has Gun for the Xbox 360 on sale for $5.00 today and tomorrow. I'll probabbly end up buying it.

No way would I go near those places!

God, people are Animals!

I scored a decent mp3 player for my son at Best Buy, along with a variety of the little things (tradition gifts, stocking gifts, work related gifts) this morning. Made my 1st stop at 4:45 and got home about 2:30. The bulk of my shopping will be online this year, but it was still fun to get out and see the lines at Kohl's and Target.

Kohls had some great jeans for $13 so I snagged those for myself along with these really cute black boots from Charlotte Russe for $16...picked up some shirts for my boyfriend too. Wish I had more money to spend...

I don't shop on Black Friday. I try not to even leave home.

Just a duck and cover my Friend!!!!

I didn't go shopping, but I worked today.

The lines weren't as bad and the people. Really though, when there are HUGE signs saying "Everything 50% except Fragrances" wouldn't you think that the jeans were on sale too? What part of "everything" do they not understand. And then we had the people who knew there was a 50% discount but would stop me from trying to clean up the store just so I could tell them what 50% of $24.50 is.

Working retail sucks sometimes! lol.

This has been true for me for the most part. I've ordered a huge bulk of items for female friends and family members through my The Body Shop At Home business with my discount. I still get a host discount from having a pampered chef party so I've ordered online through my friend's website and I bought a $600 watch for my husband for $100 at SmartBargains.com (ofcourse I'll let him think I paid $600 bucks for it hehe).

Other than that I have only four people left to buy for, three of which will be The Body Shop items and the fourth is my 18 month old nephew who will get some Walmart or Target toys. I myself am on the look out for deals on purses, shoes/boots, watch, coats, jeans, and crystal for myself. Some new Christmas decor to further enhance my holiday decorating fool traditions would be nice too.

I volunteered to work today, then came home and watched football. Beats fighting the crowds and the games today were outstanding!

Same here. I'm toying with boycotting any store that opened prior to 8am this morning.

SOPi_Jawbreaker 11-23-2007 10:46 PM

I bought myself a Singer sewing machine for $65 at Target. Since I had nothing else to do today, I've been shopping since 10:30am and just got home. The mall was pretty bad, but Target wasn't any more crowded than it usually is.
