Has anyone seen this? Is it good? What exactly is it about?

I was wondering the same thing. It seems kind of skanky to me though.

This ranks right up there in the top three worst movies I have ever seen. Most of the people in the theater when I saw it left after 20 minutes.

I "got" it, I just didn't think it was very good. I love 80s music and I love artsy movies, but for some reason this one just rubbed me the wrong way. Everybody I know that has seen it either LOVED it or HATED it.

Even though I know I'll probably hate it, I want to see this movie. Maybe it's all the pretty colors http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/wink.gif.

My lil' is annoyed by one preview where Ewan McGregor is giving this mini-monologue and everything he's saying is lines from 80's songs. So she won't see it. And she adores Ewan.

My boyfriend, who hates arts-y movies, wants to see it.

I read a review that said they are trying to revive the movie-musical. Which I don't think could ever work post-MTV.
