Song of the moment?
Every couple of months a new song will come out that quickly becomes my "new" favorite song. What are everyone's favorite songs of the moment?
Mine are: "I Wanna Be Bad" by Willa Ford and "I Like Them Girls" by Tyrese. |
I am in love with the new Eric Sermon and Marvin Gay "Just like Music"
It such a nice mellow Sunday-in-the-park song ------------------ Treblk MSK94 Xi Chi 'Delta Seeks No One, Wise Women Seek Delta' |
I LOVE the new Aaliyah song "We need a Resolution". She's the bomb! And I love the Lady Marmalade song although MTV and radio are really blowing it up right now. I try to avoid it so I don't get sick of it, but I really like that song!

My song for the moment is an old one...
Bare Naked Ladies 'IF I HAD A MILLION DOLLARS.' I just got my two BNL cd's the other week and I have been listening to them NONSTOP. I'm addicted. I also like track number 7 off of Stunt...Call and Answer. FITS ME PERFECTLY right now...especially the first verse. |
treblk,
I heard that song the other day and I loved it...I mean absolutely loved it. But I caught it on the radio and the announcer didn't say the name. I thought it might have been an old song because the style was just really mellow. I love songs like that. Thanks so much for helping me find out what it is http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif |
not exactly brand new
but I love Missy Elliot - "Get ya Freak On" |

oh and before I forget the song, that I hardly hear but like it a like the Missy E. One minute man, with ludicris and Jay Z on it http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif |
Forgot the song titles (my head hurts), but the "newer" ones from DMB, U2, and David Gray (Grey?).
I'm into "mellow" alternative (laid-back alternative, not punk/ska) these days... [This message has been edited by newbie (edited May 30, 2001).] |

Hey Newbie, do u mean like DMB's "I Did it"? I like that one too, ahh, can't wait to see them in concert, lol DGPhoney~ |
Hi DGPhoney! I don't know if it's that one or not! http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/frown.gif I realyl ought to listen to the lyrics more carefully! But you know what, recently, I'm liking so many of his songs that come on the radio! Perhaps it is the one that you talked about!
I will keep an eye (ear?) out for it! I really want to get his CD soon http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif. Then, after that, I MUST get the U2 CD http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/biggrin.gif. I like practially every U2 song that I have ever heard! P.S. When are you seeing them in concert? Lucky doll! They played in SF only a few weeks ago, it was supposedly a big blast...but tickets were so hard to get! |
"we're calling you," by r&b group, silk and "bakardi slang," by canadian rapper kardinal official.

That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes. http://www.plauder-smilies.de/tiere/ride.gif Maybe in order to understand mankind, we have to look at the word itself: "Mankind". Basically, it's made up of two separate words - "mank" and "ind". What do these words mean ? It's a mystery, and that's why so is mankind http://www.plauder-smilies.de/nut.gif [This message has been edited by MeezDiscreet (edited May 30, 2001).] |

Newbie- Probably I Did It by DMB (from their album Everyday). If you're just getting into them... they're addictive! http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif I actually don't like their new album as much as Before These Crowded Streets (my favorite) and Crash. But it's still good. And Everything You Can't Leave Behind by U2 (at least I think that's the title). If you're not too familiar with U2, a good album to start with is The Best of 1980-1990. You probably already know every song on it http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif. I'm not familiar with David Gray, but I hope that helps! ------------------ SilverTurtle@greekchat.com Phi Beta Fraternity Phi chapter [This message has been edited by SilverTurtle (edited May 30, 2001).] |

Hey, Silver Turtle, the band Train sings "Drops of Jupiter". It is a little overplayed (it was used for every Dawson's Creek preview). Right now, I like "Lady Marmalade", "Get Ya Freak On", "Pop", "More Than That",and "Bootylicisious". I heard that Willa Ford song today for the first time--it's pretty good too.
