I am very interested in becoming apart of this beautiful sorority, but there are people standing in my way. I have grown up with BEAUTIFUL woman who are apart of AKA so it was instilled that there was no other sorority. I was in an abusive relationship last semester that kind of set me back on grade and establishing my place inthe communtiy. This semester that has been my commitment to turning that around to accomplish my life long dream. I have kept my head inthe books and signed up for numerous volunteer projects. Problem is I havent become friends with any of the active members, I have a friend who is an Alpha Phi Alpha member and he is majorly assisting me with how to join, he told me to become friends with some of them but I dont want to seem fake. I know my history more than anything, I want to make this a reality. Please help me on what I should do by convincing them Iam what this organization represents. Thank you guys so much for your help!:)
