Great Idea
 

My alumnae chapter just did a yard sale. All items were donated from various sisters/family members and all money went to ZTA Foundation. Very cool! :D

Our alum chapter in Peachtree City/Sharpsburg does an annual yard sale too -we have been doing one for about 6 yrs now; typically we raise anywhere from $200 - $500 and our proceeds go to our philanthropy - Campfire USA Georgia Council. Our next one is mid April.....:)

We also did a yard a sale in August to raise funds and it was great. It was a lot of fun :)

We always try to do a yard sale, it helps soon to be alum who are cleaning out their college after 4 years of college stuff piling up in their parents garage, also, alum who just have things to donate and don't wanna hold a garage sale. Good stuff we put on e-bay :-D
