Dance-Off
 

Does anybody here know anything about hosting or planning a Dance-Off event?

A few weeks ago, me and a few other guys in my fraternity decided having a dance-off competition among all the fraternities and sororities on campus would be a good event to host since there is nothing like it on campus. My fraternity and the North Texas Dancers here at school would be hosting the event. In a way, it would give Sigma Phi Epsilon to "mix" with the North Texas Dancers but also to raise money for the Dancers and for our national philanthropy.

This is really really early in planning, but does anyone have any ideas about dance-offs or have actually seen one or offer any advice as to how we can go about planning this out?

I would host it like any contest or party you've ever thrown except have a entry form or a "sign up" email for people to enter.

A little while ago, a sorority on my campus had a dance marathon for charity. They received a lot of media attention. I'm not much of a dancer, but I love community service. Good luck with your event!
