Alumnae Attire at Initiation
 

Hi Gang!
I'm embarrassed to say, but I have not attended a collegiate initiation since I graduated 23 years ago. I plan to attend one this weekend and am very excited.

I have sent an email to the chapter president to find out the attire, but haven't heard back from her yet. Obviously, even if my initiation gown from the 80s would fit me, I would only wear it to a retro costume party.

What is acceptable attire now for alumnae? Could I get away with a dressy white pants suit or is it still the long white dress with shoulders covered?

Alpha Iota initiated 20 ladies this afternoon. I had a chance to meet one of the chapter founders who was initiated in 1940
