Women rule in Auburn, Ga.
Tuesday's election resulted in an all-female city council and female mayor

When all recounts were over and done with in Washington's 2004 Governor's election, Christine Gregoire was declared the winner by just 129 votes...and that's a STATE election, not just local. THAT was really an example of how every vote counts...and counts and counts. :)
Washington embraces female candidates, too...our governor and both senators are women. |
