I don't think fraternities ever really care how old a pledge is, but I'm sure they'll love that you will still be there for 4 years.

I had a friend that joined another Org and pledged when he was 36 i believe...

ahha...thats funny regarding the 36 year old - anyways, how "hard" is it to actually get into a frat...what kind of things do they judge for?

If you aren't a tool you should be fine. Frats have unlimited space. In fact if you are only part-tool or can hide your toolishness for several weeks life should be great.

Whats funny about a 36 year old joining a fraternity? I'm 25 and was the youngest on my line of 4. 2 of my LB's are 35+.

I was the youngest of my line of four, too! I was 23 -- they were 31, 40, and 43.

Being 20, not at all!

Some who wait a year or so may be easily 20-23.

As one poster said, some try to find someone who will be there and be more productive over a longer period of time.

But remember, it is nice to have someone with a with just a bit more age on them to hopefully build and stablize a chapter!
