Another UF student dies in car accident (Gamma Phi/FSU)
 

Catherine Barclift, a first year law student at UF, was struck by a car yesterday morning while jogging. She passed away this morning. She graduated from FSU in 2007 and was a member of Gamma Phi Beta.

It does not appear that charges will be filed against the driver.

This is the second automobile-related death at UF in the past 72 hours.

Prayers go out for the young lady, her sisters and her family and friends. Life is short; let's cherish every moment, loving and serving each other. We are all destined to meet our Creator!

I am so terribly sorry for yet another loss - and a sister of mine, no less. Prayers for her family and chapter sisters.

One of my former students is a Gamma Phi Beta at FSU right now. It's her first semester- I do not even know if she has been initiated.

So sad.

Wow that is awful. I will be praying for her family, friends, and her sorority sisters. That is just so sad.

It's a very sad day at the law school.

So young to be lost so early in her life.
