Joe Raposo was such a great composer. The fact that he used his talent to write songs for kids just makes him that much cooler in my book.

Strange fact- Jim Henson died on the day that the Joe Raposo memorial tribute aired on PBS. Don't ask why I remember that.

i'll bet it was fun. jim henson, joe raposo, & lady blacksmith mambazo all hanging out. i want to be in that room.

the set on this video is huge. even the "extras" like the turtle and bullfrog are singing. i think a bird and a butterfly fly by, too. there's a lot going on in that scene. i can't imagine what it looked like underneath, with everybody in sync, masters of puppets.
