Post a pic of your neat greek jewelery

http://i20.tinypic.com/34sl6l5.pngI've heard mention of many unique badges, rings, bracelets, etc., and I'd love to see some of them! Here are my rings - the crest ring is 1986 Balfour, and my badge ring is, well, my badge!

Here's my AOII Badge holder with my great-grandmother's badge from 1924, Omicron Chapter :) I love it so much! I wear her badge since I lost mine a few years ago.

You can check out my webshots album and see a couple more pics of it too.

I kinda wish ZTA allowed us to mount our badge - I think it's neat! I'd love to see more of these pics, so I hope more of you post some!

Here is a photo of my Full Jewel, Ritual Of Jewels Badge. (the degree after Pledge) I found it on Ebay a few months back. This pin is dated 1933, and the chapter engraved on the back was the 1st to receive this degree. My chapter had to ask permission for me to receive this last month at my ritual.

OleMissGlitter-- What an amazing heirloom you have. I've always thought the AOpi badges were gorgeous.

I want a pendant holder for my badge. I may just have to order one this spring.

SWTXBelle-- Do you wear your ring-badge a lot? I thought about getting a ring holder but was afraid it would take too much abuse.

I started out wearing it a lot, but it caught on things, so I save it for when I know I won't have to do much with my hands.

Thanks ya'll. I really love my badge holder and if I want to wear my badge normal I can do that too! Even though I had to send my badge off to the AOII Jeweler for about 6 weeks it was worth it. I also tried my sister's badge in it and it works pretty well for her badge, which is just the white gold AOII badge. So I could even borrow her badge if I wanted a two-tone look! I highly recommend getting a badge holder if your organization allows it. I also went ahead and got the 10K gold because I figured since my great-grandmother's badge is real gold it would look better. I have seen the "gold clad" and it looks pretty good too. AOII also offers a disk style badge holder which is very pretty too. I almost got the ring holder but I decided it would sit too high on my hand but those are really pretty too.

ETA: I really like the Gamma Phi Beta crest ring you have on SWTXBelle. I think it's very classic. And of course your badge as a ring is really pretty!
