Bid day theme help!

i know its a little far away..but we are going through elections and i need to come up with some really cute bid day themes! Can anyone help?

Last year, we did Yacht Club..the year before it was army...and before that was a barbie theme.

We also have to come up with t shirt slogans to go along with the theme...
If any of you have any ideas it would really help a sister out!! Thank you!

Welcome to GreekChat, ADPiZetaOmega!

Please realize that this site can be seen by anyone on GreekChat, so most sisters won't post something that they consider private here. I do hope, though, that a LOT of sisters PM you with suggestions!

Also, there are Bid Day Suggestions in both the Recruitment and Greek Life Forums. You might find an idea - or a germ of an idea there.

Good luck!! Hope to see you around!

we did this theme for our valentine's day dance in high school a few years back.

~what we did is for tables *idk if you're going to have any* is we got red and white tablecloths and then switched to the opposite color for the napkins and plates

~for lighting we went to party city and found a bunch of cute colored lights and hung those up as well as some icicle lights

~we got different colors of fabric that's used on the game board itself and created the path *it took time to sew the fabric together even though we used a machine but it was totally worth it*

~we also found pictures of the characters online and blew them up to fit on a large piece of cardboard and we painted them and placed them around the room

we also sold shirts to help fund it since we had a small budget from the school we had to come up with the rest of the $$ the school gave us about $600 and we sold tshirts to everyone in the high school *my school was 7th-12th* and charged about $12 for each shirt and we ended up having a $2500 budget which allowed us to do all of the decorating we did instead of just having a dj we really got to the dance right :)

Here was the shirt idea we used..
we put our school's initials in the upper left hand corner *or whatever the normal side is where you put the smaller slogan on the front* and on the back we had all the characters with the saying how sweet it is to be loved by you ... but you could easily change that to how sweet it is to be loved by (_insert sorority name here_)
