SC Dems tell Colbert No Thanks!

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21580385/

They voted 13-3 to keep Steven Colbert off the primary ballot in South Carolina.

Ahhhh Darn it! I was looking forward to some fun during the insanity!

I know! I just saw this, I'm not in SC obviously but I thought it was funny, did anyone see "Man of the Year" with Robin Williams? it has the same premise

loved "man of the year" and love colbert!

The SC Democrats thought he had a (good) chance of taking votes from the other candidates. Especially with the fact that he's from James Island.

I was shocked that it only costed $3200 to run for the Democratic nomination, compared to over $30,000 for the Republican one.

when will people figure out that nobody is "taking votes"? for the LOVE OF GOD people are supposed to be voting for the candidate that most represents their views. NOT for the "lesser of the evils"

i hate this sissy ass excuse as to why people "lose" elections. umm, if people would prefer to vote for colbert (or any "third party candidate" for that matter), why is this "wrong"????

this is why a two party system is so freaking stupid. UGH!

sorry for the soapbox here. i've just been listening to this fearful chicken little shit about colbert running for the last week. if people are soooooooo scared he'll steal votes, well then maybe they should put more time and energy into GIVING PEOPLE WHAT THEY REALLY WANT FROM A CANDIDATE instead of blocking one...

UGH!!!!!
