My high school is having a semi formal and we (school council) need to come up with an idea that isn't too lame or played out by the end of the week. Any suggestions?

Oh to be 16 again. Corsages, cumberbunds, hoop skirts... sneaking wine coolers into the limo. Good times.

Some advice: Just make sure that you chew on a penny before walking into the dance, since I heard that some schools give breathalyzer tests and that penny thing works. If the penny doesn't work, chew on a nickel. It will work twice as fast.

Oh, and make sure that you leave room for the Holy Spirit between you and your date when you start grinding on the dance floor. Remember, no glove, no love. No sense sealing your summer plans with a cute little baby incubating.

Seriously, though. Why not ask your peers what they think might be fun. What college students do is often a little different than what high school children should be doing when playing dress up. You don't need a sexy or controversial theme to have fun. And PLEASE don't drink and drive.
