These sisters have come into positions on the EC board and are now asserting their authority over the other sisters and trying to manipulate everyone. Now lots of the girls who embody the image of ZTA are thinking about quitting because they can't handle these sisters. We have written letters to nationals asking for help and all they did was chat with the president and another sister.

Can someone please tell me what to do about this situation before our chapter completely disintegrates and only the bad sisters are left?!?!?!

Well first off have you gone to your chapter's advisor? If you dont have one then you can call your province president for the best advice.

Speak to either your GA or the Standards Advisor ASAP.

Your chapter advisor (not related to the school) should be able to help. Do you have a Zeta alum who oversees all aspects of your chapter? She should be able to help you. Also, try going to the local alum chapter. There will be a bunch of Zetas who are willing to rectify the situation within your chapter. If this doesn't work, go to your province president.

Unfortunately the only type of advisor we have is a faculty advisor who isnt a zeta. The only times she gets involved in our sorority is when we need to reserve rooms on campus and need an advisor to sign off on it.

do you have any other suggestions?

Speak to your Province President. She should also work with your chapter to find you a ZTA alumna willing to serve in an advisory position, either as GA or for Standards/Judicial.

Alumnae Advisors can be an integral part of the development of a collegiate chapter. Please, definitley check in with your Province President. She will be a great resource in finding Alumnae to step in and help your chapter out!
