What's your Dad's Type?

Very cute! visit http://www.advisorteam.com/newslette...TypeIntro.html

Don't worry, it's not a quiz...so it's really fast http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/biggrin.gif. It lets you see which "type" (Artisan, Idealist, Guardian, Rational) your dad is, and it has a very funny cartoon to go along with it!!!! http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/biggrin.gif http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/biggrin.gif

Plus, it talks about the relationship that you have with your dad (based on your type VS. his type.)

This was developed by the Keirsey Team BTW.

Oh yeah, my daddy is a Guardian, and I'm an Idealist...

So it said:

Guardian Father * Idealist Child
This relationship can be a little strained as the Guardian fathers' attempt at conscientious stewardship of their families can feel intrusive or stifling to these children who yearn to be trusted and for acceptance of their uniqueness.

And not surprisingly, my sister's type placed along with my Dad's type:

Guardian father * Guardian Child
When the Guardian father has to put his foot down, hešll find that, to his relief, he gets minimal rebellion from his Guardian children. They respect his authority, and he may get fewer passionate uprising from these children than from those of other temperaments.

Rational father * Idealist child

Rational fathers enjoy these childrenšs verbal fluency and love of fantasy, but may be at a loss to deal with inexplicable emotional ups and downs that don't respond to reason. The Rational father is a good ally for Idealist children; as, Intuitives, they may share the sense of being outsiders in school and work environments that esteem the more concrete-thinking and action-oriented sensing types.
