Septimus Heap book series
 

Have any of you or your children read these books? I know we have several teachers and librarians in our midst so I thought I would ask. No copies are available in our city wide library system and there is a wait list for them as well. They looked rather Potterish to me but I would rather not buy them if they are just a bad Harry knock off.
