Can you believe this??
 

Hey everyone, this is a really random question, but I just want to get some opinions on something (I hope this kind of topic is appropriate for the boards). I just read in Glamour magazine (they just did some big sex poll) that 31% of the people they polled said that they only wait until the 2nd date to sleep w/ someone!! I find this kind of hard to believe, it just seems way too soon. I know that 31% of the people I know wouldn't do that! Am I just some kind of a prude, or do people really think this is OK? Just wondering what y'all think...

interesting. well, in college I knew plenty of people (myself included from time to time) who would do that, but personally now that i'm older i think its too soon--but the older i've gotten the longer i tend to wait before sleeping with someone too.

I just saw in Wall St Journal today that Bonnie Fuller, the editor of Glamour, recently was fired. There were many complaints that Glamour was turning into a Cosmopolitan lookalike (Fuller was formerly the editor of Cosmo) and several advertisers pulled their ads because the magazine was becoming so sex-fixated.

If this is the kind of garbage they're printing, all I can say is they didn't fire her a moment too soon!

I am becoming increasingly surprised at the rate at which my friends will sleep with (and some cases, lose their virginities to) people on the second or third dates. I guess I'm much more conservative than I thought, or that people are much more desperate than I thought.

Didn't Bonnie Fuller also serve as the editrix for Teen or YM?
