Parents Weekend

Hey everyone - I'm pretty new to the forums but long time lurker.

I've recently been put in charge of Parents weekend with no budget. I figure the most part of Saturday will be taken up with our football game tailgate (that actually has a budget though). Saturday night would I guess be a dinner.

But does anyone have any ideas though for a bunch of fraternity men that have not done Parents weekend in a while?

Thanks for the help
(Hope this is in the right forum)

Slideshows are always nice and relatively simple to put together. Editing for parental appropriateness is suggested. Will you guys be together all day (i.e. before and after the tailgating) or just looking for something after football?

Depending how large a chapter you have (and how much work this would end up being) you could take some time at dinner or another event to roast your members with funny anecdotes from their childhood that you could collect from the members' parents before the weekend.

It may be wise also to minimize the alcohol decor that may/may not be on the property... always makes the 'rents more at ease when they aren't blasted with constant reminders that "my son is now an alcoholic"...

I like the slide show idea and the roast thing. IDK if the roast would be possible at this time. The game is a 4:00 game so once the game gets over and everyone gets showered I figure dinner can be had for 8:30. So Saturday will be tailgate and dinner.

But does anybody have any more ideas as well? Some parents are going to be here Fri/Sat and some will be here Sat/Sun
