ATTENTION ALL PHI MU'S!!!!

Hey all of you wonderful ladies!! My girlfriend is a Phi Mu at Florida State University. Her name is Taylor Nix. She is an extremely funny, outgoing, and beautiful girl. She is also a cheerleader for FSU.

I'm writing to you guys because she needs your help. She is in a contest for a sports magazine called Athlon Sports. They are having a contest called the Sideline Spirit contest and as of now, she is up against a girl, neck to neck. If she wins this round, she will move on to the final round where she has a chance at winning $1000, a 46" flatscreen tv, 2 camcorders, a boom box and best of all, A SPREAD IN ATHLON SPORTS MAGAZINE!!! How wonderful would it be to say you took part in getting a Phi Mu Sister in there.

We need everyones help on this. Vote as much as you can, as often as you can, until your precious fingers fall off. If you knew this girl, and how far she goes out of her way for her sorority you would completely understand that she would be more than willing to sit on the computer from dawn till dusk voting for any of you girls as well. I'm not asking you do to this by the way, lol. Just click the link below, and vote for her. And you will see how bright eyed and bushy tailed and extremely gorgeous she is just by her pictures. She's reppin PHI MU in her profile underneath her pictures as well!

She currently is up 200 votes. Lets see if we can make that 4,000 votes!!! As her boyfriend, I am committed to at least 3-5 hours a day, clicking and typing, clicking and typing.. I have my whole family involved along with everyone on my facebook. And I'm just asking a small favor of you guys to do it for her.

Thanks so much for reading this post. Happy voting and again thanks soooo much..

By the way, Taylor wanted me to write this....

LIOB

Sincerely,
Rob Cartwright

ps-i still can't figure out what LIOB means, is it Lovable, Intelligent, Outstanding, and Beautiful? Whatever it may be, I kinda like the way I've put it.

THANKS THANKS THANKS THANKS THANKS THANKS!!!!!!

Hey, Rob -

Congratulations and good luck to your girlfriend. Props to you for your support.

Drolefille 09-27-2007 05:16 PM

I figured out what LIOB was in about 15 seconds...

hollywoodhsc 09-27-2007 05:16 PM

I apparently am not allowed to know the real meaning of LIOB, but I like to guess from time to time..

cutie_cat_4ever 09-27-2007 05:23 PM

last I checked she was in the lead! Good luck! and you're so lucky to have her as a gf ;)

You might have already done this, but you might get a better response if you post this in the Phi Mu forum instead of the main page.

She goes up and down. Last night she was down 2000 votes.. now shes back up.. There are a lot of people voting out there.

Yeah, it's really not that hard, and I doubt it's ritual as I've seen multiple sororities use it.

I voted! :)

Should probably give you the benefit of the doubt buuuut:

"Five exclamation marks, the sure sign of an insane mind" Terry Pratchett, Reaper Man

You beat him by one.

It's an open signature.

Actually it's very meaningful to Phi Mus and I'm curious what other sororities use it? Cuz I've never heard of any.

I've seen SKs use it for example. I'm not saying it's not meaningful, but there's a difference between it and the use of AOT to sign things (don't even get me started on that).

Scandia 09-27-2007 06:45 PM

I know what it means. It is not a secret.

Someone else signed an email using a similar thing from another sorority. In no way was it a secret either.

hollywoodhsc 09-27-2007 06:53 PM

Terry,

Thats six exclamation marks, not five. Not insane, just committed.

Thank you

I see PhiSigs use LITB a lot. Same difference. I think I've even seen an ASA or two use it, but not often.
