Calling ALL Brothers... (Baltimore, MD)

Wassup FRAT and HEARTS
Just passing along a great event posted by my Alpha Omega Alumni Chapter brother and the Metro Baltimore NPHC President. This is a great cause to champion on a personal and fraternal level. THIS IS NOT ONLY FOR THE BROTHERS, MY SISTAHS COME OUT AND SUPPORT US.

See ya there.

Brothers, and I mean that to everyone, I am calling you all to the floor. Masons, Alphas, Kappas, Omegas, Sigmas and Iotas, I am asking for your support in an outstanding event to be held on September 30th. The Great Strides for Prostate Cancer Run/"Fun" Walk is being held at St. Joseph's hospital and I am trying to get brothers to Walk (notice I didn't say RUN) with me for this event. I am sure everyone knows that African-American Men are hit the hardest with this deadly disease and EARLY TESTING can help prevent the spread and provide a better chance for full recovery. The event starts at 8am, so it doesn't interfere with your football and it brings "Positive" Men....make that "Positive Black Men" to the local scene. It is a cost of $20 to walk and sponsorship brochures are available. At this point in time, I am challenging 10 BROTHERS FROM EVERY FRATERNITY to join me for this walk. It would raise $1,000 (without sponsorship) and bring 5O POSITIVE BLACK MEN together for a great cause. There will also be FREE TESTING conducted, on site, so please encourage others to participate in some fashion. Please join me for this event and lets demonstrate Brotherhood (wear your colors) as we complete the 1 Mile "Fun" walk. If anyone needs more information, please contact me at 443-413-4998.

This thread is from September. You might want to try Google to get the answer to your question.
