Appalachian State Greek Life??
I am transferring to ASU from South Carolina for the spring of 08. I am highly interested in getting involved by joining a fraternity. I was wondering how the fraternities are at ASU, how are the people in each fraternity and/or what are the reputations of their chapters at ASU. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Google. Befriend it.

See this thread: http://www.greekchat.com/gcforums/sh...ad.php?t=70883
Change the word to "sorority" to "fraternity" where applicable... |
|
Also...see this thread about the OTHER ASU and change "sorority" to "fraternity".:):)

Agh! It's back!! :)
But seriously, see Alpha's last post on page 5 of that thread... let's just get there now before this one goes the same way... |

Check your PM's

You can also check GreekPages.com.
You will have to surf a bit as many schools are hard to navigate when it comes to GLOs. Go to current students and try that as some of the web sites are outdated and the schools site it the most updated. |
My brother is a freshman at App State and is starting to visit the different houses to see where he might like to formally rush in the spring. Feel free to PM me. :)
On another note, I don't think it's a terrible thing to probe what the different houses are like. You will have very little time to get acquainted before rush and you are behind the ball since you'll miss fall semester as a dry recruit. Nevertheless, GC tends to frown upon those who ask about reputations in public. Just take everything you read with a grain of salt if anyone does offer you their opinions via PM. What is right for one person, might not be right for the other. |
