Learning disabilities

I suffer from dyspraxia, language disorder, and ADHD. Since I came to college I haven't really came into contact w/ other students with LD's. Am I the only one? If anyone here has one, how do you cope with it?

SH80,

Hi. I am a Speech-Language Pathology major and have studied your conditions. No, you are not alone. There are many support groups and other resources available to you. The internet is a good resource in itself. If you need any assistance finding some information, feel free to e-mail me, my address can be found in my profile.

Good luck and please do not hesitate to contact me. I can surely help you to answer any questions that you may have, even if it means contacting some of my professors while they are on summer vacation http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/wink.gif.

Hey SH08....like the last post said you are not alone. Although I was never diagnosed with ADD I had several teachers in high school ask me if I was. I have a bit of a speech problem that I have had all my life. And I have a learning disability. Sometimes I feel like Rainman because I can tell you the history of the world in a single breath, but a simple math question requires my fingers or paper!
How do I get through it? Not very well sometimes! http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif
If you want, you can email me to!
Sarah
