Starting a New Colony
 

I have searched this in the search feature, so now I am going to ask.
I go to a school with a greek system in place, we have six NPC sororities on campus, we did have seven but one was de-chartered in the past few years. Does anyone know how to start a colony on a NPC campus? I have contacted NPC and the greek life office at my school. Any other advice? Thank you.

If there is no need for another NPC group on campus (based on the numbers of the 6 current houses and the # of women going through recruitment), then I doubt you'll have much luck with a new colony.

The best advice is to await further instructions from the NPC and your campus Panhellenic. You can't really do much until you get word from them.

Hi again, so i talked with my greek life office and they said they want to expand, they went to NPC and they denied the request. I was told by an NPC rep that the local panhel councel must vote to expand. THat is where i am confused. What is the local pahnel council?

The six NPC sororities chapters on your campus comprise the local collegiate panhellenic council. They must vote on expansion and if it is in the affirmative, they submit those minutes to the NPC Extension Chairman.
