University of Delaware Expansion Presentation
 

Sisters-

Wanted to let you know that ADPI is one of three groups selected to present at the University of Delaware which is open for expansion. The presentation will be on October 2nd at the U of D at 6pm. Alumnae and collegiate members are welcome to attend (but please let me know if you would like to so I can provide directions etc).

In case you're curious, the two other groups that will be presenting are Delta Delta Delta and Delta Phi Epsilon.

Question: if we get chosen and the colony initiates would they be our Theta Gamma chapter?

Yep because we have never been there in the past so this would not be a recolonization...

Wait - if I'm not mistaken, we haven't been at Sonoma State (where there is a group of women who've gone through Alpha ceremony, and I think recruitment for these women is next week) - so wouldn't these women (if they are chartered first) be Theta Gamma?

So what would be next? Theta Delta?

Best of luck to our sisters presenting at the University of Delaware! I have never seen an expansion presentation, but I would guess that they are fantastic. Also, thanks to all of the sisters on the east coast for going to support the presenters!

We had a good turnout of alumnae and also some collegiate members from Beta Phi and Gamma Pi chapters. It was fun to meet each other and now we cross our fingers in hopes that we get selected to colonize there.

Congrats to the presenting team - sounds like everyone did a great job! Crossing my fingers!!!!

When do we expect a verdict?

Have Tri-Delt & DPhiE presented already?

DPhiE presents today and Delta Delta Delta next week (a rescheduled time as they were supposed to go this past Monday)- not sure on when the decision will be made but clearly not before the end of next week at the earliest...

OMG it's like waiting for bid day.

I would LOVE to see an expansion presention but since all 3 state schools have (or all will have in 09) an ADPi chapter, not going to happen anytime soon. And I'm guessing we won't be giving a presentation for DG's recolonization because the university already knows it's coming.
