ranking question

I have a question...
last night was pref night...

I listed A as #1 and B as #2 (they didn't want and one putting one down)

my question is since A is my first choice, if I am higher on the list for B, will I get paired with B or A?? Could I get an offer from both and then have to decide when I get my envelope??

If you are ANYWHERE on A's FIRST BID LIST (which is equal to Quota) or if they get to your name before A makes quota, you will get matched with A regardless of where you are on B's list. B is just a fallback for you if they don't get to your name with A before they make quota.

thank you Alpha... I was up all night wondering that if I were one higher on B I'd end up at B... I got NO sleep last night between that and my nerves.... is that normal??

Yep.:)

I hope that if you get B you're happy with it. You don't sound like you will be :(

I will be happy either way. I liked both, just A a little more than B.

Plus they each have different colors so I was trying to decide what to wear today for bid yell

It doesn't really matter either way since they'll probably give you a bid day tshirt. Good luck!

I would recommend wearing something neutral but comfortable. Jeans and a black or white tee maybe... that way, when you get your bid day shirt, whatever color it may be, it won't look too weird over what you're already wearing if you're not able to actually change shirts (there were some oddly dressed girls in my bid day photo because of this and thank God I wasn't one of them!)

Also, keep in mind, that one sorority's colors may be pink and green or something and their bid day shirt may be blue or black - they don't necessarily pic their sorority's colors for bid day shirts - we never did!

I have a pair of jeans and a long sleeve pink shirt. (It was cold this morning and I was limited on what shirts aren't packed since I am moving) But I

Good luck today! I hope that today is the first day as part of a life-long sisterhood for you...be it "a" or "b" :D
