Tee Shirts!
Brothers!
Do any of you know a good place online to buy Lambda Chi tee shirts? I'm not talking like generic "greek letters sewn on" tee shirts -- like some legit screen printed shirts from colleges and such, or ones with coat of arms on them. Any help would be great! |
these aren't bad http://www.greekt-shirts.com/printin...mbda+Chi+Alpha

Dri-Fit / polo?
I looked at some of those sites, and will definitely recommend the chapter members to check them out, but I have another question:
are any of your chapters out there ordering any shirts that are polo (collared) or dri-fit/climacool? I'm hoping to get some, but I can't find any LCA gear online that's made of athletic material, or professional enough to wear at work (unless I want to buy a pre-manufactured one from a catalogue for 65$). I am hoping that a chapter out there is doing either one of these (or maybe both), and I can have them order an extra one for me? Of course, I would pay. Anyone know of any of these orders out there? Or, do you have any of these shirts left over from a previous year (or are willing to part with your own)? An athletic-blend sports shirt, or a decent looking polo. If you want, you can email me (I rarely check PM's through greekchat.com) straight at: chris937 AT gmail DOT com Appreciatively in Z A X , |
I don't know of any chapter that is doing this but I'd like to buy a couple as well. At one time I could get by with one or two LXA items but I find myself wearing them more now as an alumnus than I ever did as an undergrad. Would your chapter like to explore having some made?

Unfortunately, I had a person in my area that did polo shirts with letters on them and put it on G C, but no one was intersted. They went for @ $35.00 and were of good quality fabric. I still wear them today.
Other than that, I cannot suggest a thing!:( Polo shirts are classy looking! Look good feel good!;) Advertise LXA not beer or shoes. |

As I was leaving, however, an elderly woman ran after me and stopped me at the door. "Those letters are Lambda Chi Alpha", she said, "I was an AOPi in college and my father was a Lambda Chi!" He had gone to Syracuse, class of 1917. You never know who you might run into when wearing letters - even at a small-town funeral home. I'm glad I wore that knit polo shirt. Classy enough. Good luck finding some. |
still lookin'
That's a cool story, Jono.
on a side note, my chapter will be making athletic shirts, and I will be getting one of those for sure. But, as a future elementary school P.E. teacher, I'll need a couple from which to choose (and it would be fun to sport my letters at work)...so I'm still hoping to find some other options out there (still athletic-blend or polo) Gotta rush those kids young! Haha. |
I too run into problems getting shirts, I always see some pretty cool ones on ebay, but being the over-sized young man that I am, I never see any XXL. So if any brothers up here have some left over from recruitment, philanthropy events, etc, etc I would be greatly interested in acquiring them if at all possible.
