Yes, you should keep DGR. First, Chi Omega is abbreviated XO, not CX. But, even that isn't right because X does mean Chi, but O is not Omega. There's just not an easy way to type a horseshoe! But, AGD is a perfect example, because technically, their letters look like A-r-triangle, because a gamma looks like a little r. But, when people abbreviate names like that, they usually mean the english letters that their names start with (although XO is a mix). I think you are fine to call it DGR and it would be silly to call it DGP because most people would think, "Delta Gamma Pi?" Also, if you change the rho to a P, you should change the G to an r to make it Drp and that just looks ridiculous. http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/biggrin.gif
Sorry, that's probably more of a response than you wanted, but I just had to put my 2 cents in! |
Agree with the above.
My favorite fictional GLO was in one of those insipid Greeks vs. Greek Geeks Spring Break movies. In one of the crowd scenes there's a guy with a sweatshirt with the letters "PPP" on it. As was pointed out above P=Rho. So our fictional fraternity man belonged to Rho Rho Rho. I almost choked on whatever I was drinking at the time. DeltAlum |
I visited your website. Very Cool!! It looks so real. Are by any chance an ADPi? The initiated sister pin on the site looked just like the one for ADPi.

I know this is totally off the subject, but someone above mentioned their favorite fictional GLO. Mine would have to be DIK from Can't Hardly Wait. When Jerry O'Connel was sitting on that swing in the back yard, drinking with his "letters" on. LOL! I just thought it was humorous! http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/biggrin.gif
