Mixer Foods
 

I was just wondering what type of foods ya'll usually bring to mixers. Do you ask the other fraternity or sorority to bring stuff as well or do you bring it all?

I am just looking for some ideas.

We have a PJ Party social with the panhellenic sororities on our campus and then in October we are having a rockstar themed social with the Sigma Pi's and I am looking at different types of food to bring and possibly ask other fraternities/sororities to bring as well.

We never really had food at mixers (looking back, that was a BAD idea!). But I would think for the p.j. party typical slumber party fare would be fun - maybe get everyone to chip in for pizza to be delivered - chips and brownies.
The rock star theme party - hmmm . .. what food says rock star?

for the Panhel mixer get pizza, it's going to be all girls so you can pig out & it doesn't matter if you have anchovy breath or cheese gets stuck in your teeth. :D

For the rockstar mixer, make up a fake "tour rider" that has all sorts of silly requirements (look on thesmokinggun.com, they have tons of these) - things like taking out the brown M & Ms or having only a certain kind of bottled water.

Where on thesmokinggun.com should I look for these ideas?

Don't limit yourself to that site. Just Google crazy rockstar demands or something like that.

Also - what kind of games or things should we do at the Slumber Party mixer for entertainment...

I have strange memories of a fraternity party at PSU when the guys would ask everyone around 11pm if they wanted to order Chinese food!
