What does it mean in pics...
 

When looking at pics on sorority webpages, why is there sometimes a smiley face, heart, or some other drawing that covers a person's face? It happens randomly. I thought maybe it was someone that graduated, but then I thought it was someone who was disaffiliated.

Anyone know why?

Rho Gamma, Rho Chi, Pi Chi--recruitment counselors who have to "disaffiliate" during recruitment.

Also, executive members of Panhellenic will disaffiliate temporarily for rush.

They're black or latina.

I know of a chapter who put pictures of their Pi Chi members on their rush video with small stickers over their faces. You could see the rest of the body...and one member, who is African-American,was the only African American Pi Chi that year! Hmmm...I wonder how many PNMs figured that one out? Hopefully the pics went by too fast for anyone to notice!!
