I love Nickelback. Everytime "I wana be a RockStar" comes on MTV or VH-1, I have to watch it. I think the video is brilliant.

Every song sounds the exact same.

Please tell me you're joking...

interesting, cause i only listen to them b/c a friend gavemetheir first CD for christmas YEARS ago. i listened and was like, ok fine.

but i do like them. this new song is cool.

I remember seeing Nickleback play at campus pub when they were first starting out.

Man, Nickelback's the main reason I got satellite radio...so I'd never have to hear them again if I didn't want to.

And trust me, I never want to.

They are definitely the most overplayed band out there. I can't stand them. I switch to my iPod every time one of their songs comes on, which is several times a day.

I hate them. I think they define all that's wrong with music today. Overproduced and absolutely no creativity. Every song sounds exactly the same. I thought satellite radio would be the end of hearing Nickelback on the radio constantly. Unfortunately, I was wrong. Lucky for me though, satellite has a lot of channels for me to choose from so I immediately switch to a new station when one of their songs comes on.

i love nickelback. YES, many of their songs sound alike... but i guess i'm a fan of consistency. :p

They are soooo overplayed. I'd like them more if I didn't have to hear them as often.

They are not very good live. The band must have no stamina because there is so much filler between songs, stupid stuff with the audience that takes forever and isn't even mildly entertaining. Chad Kroeger was on stage almost the whole time, but the rest of the band was always taking a break.

They also have an identity crisis, particularly when they perform live. Their old stuff is much harder, closer to heavy metal than pop. And they blend their two identities during their shows. I did not want to hear a tribute to Pantera at a Nickelback concert, but that's what I got (I did not pay to see them, someone had an extra ticket and took me).

I didn't realize people hated them so much!

I have no idea. That's about on par with asking me to explain nuclear physics :)

When I was in Nashville last week, Nickelback was in town. The night of the concert, my boyfriend and I went to Tootsies for some country/rock and it was awesome until some drunk chicks started shouting that they wanted to hear Nickelback...and the band actually listened to them! They did "Rock Star."

You've got to be joking now - Nickleback is pretty widely reviled.

They're tied for the worst band that's ever existed, with Hinder.

If you like either, you're part of the problem - it's beaten-wife cock rock. Just terrible.
