Nicest thing someone has ever done for you?

Ok, so I'm talking to a friend of mine that just got this crazy promotion for a movie company, and he invited me to the Oscars. I'm a little freaked and wondering if he is for real.

That made me wonder what is the nicest thing anyone has ever done for you?

I once got to go into the accessories closet at Vogue and steal the patent-leather Manolo Blahnik Mary Janes that are considered to be an urban shoe myth.

Oh wait, that's Carrie Bradshaw.

An unsolicited donation to help me get my first novel off the ground. :)

Because of it, I was able to expand my first "tour" and purchase a few more vendor tables at special events. That was truly a blessing!

To tell the truth, when I distraught over the HAYLE I was undergoing for my Ph.D. program, someone ventured to say to me: "In the Bible it says, 'it came to PASS' not stay--just you remember that..." That was what was said to me.

Done for me: My dad has given me my definition of the entire world. He is a very nice man. Truly.

Two things come to mind!

1. When I got divorced, I gave my ex everything except my store. My folks gave me money to bail me out.

2. I was hitch hiking from a resturant as my best friends wife was so drunk and I ask him to get her and lets leave. He said she was alright and I left.

An AXO from KU gave me a ride home. She was very nice.
