Unless I missed it, didn't mention what fraternity, but it was a nice display of brotherhood and lifetime friendships.

He's a Crow (Alpha Chi Rho) from Syracuse. He's talked about his fraternity before.

LOL "the weekend went faster than a Joe Hardy marriage."

Great read. When I get together with my fraternity brothers it takes about 2 minutes before we are acting/talking just like we did back in the day. To the chagrin of our girlfriends & wives. They say that we've told every story about 100 times, but to us they never get old.

I have an email list for sisters....and we get together every convention in person. One said to me "I know I haven't seen you in person in two years, but it feels like we live next door to each other."

No other feeling than the belonging of the "greek spirit".......others can only imagine what *we* know.

All this time, I never realized that "Boney Oney" was a Crow! And I thought I had read all of his columns.

Did the 'burgh people catch WDVE's take on the soon-to-be-former Mrs. Joe Hardy yesterday? "She played that all wrong! I would have been feeding him bacon & kielbossi three times a day and sneaking up behind him with firecrackers!"

There's a group of about 20 of us, both ADPis and our buddies, who meet every few years. It's been interesting, to say the least! I don't know where/when we'll meet again - we always went to the Luna before, and it's just not the same.

What a neat article and how true it rings to us oldsters.:)

It never ceases to amaze me when Brothers are not around for years and then come back for an event. They have so much fun, like the article said of all the old storys that are told and the rolling laughter.

They then become more involved but of course over the years, some are closer to some than others.
