OK, so now that it's aired, what does everyone think?

Personally, I'm SO glad they changed it up from Laguna. It's not that I don't like Laguna, I just didn't like the season 3 group AT all.

I caught the sneak preview last night. I already don't like Allie- she seems slutty and they referred to her as a boyfriend-stealer. And does she have fake boobs?? What was that tanktop she wore just to go hang out at Clay's house! Plus she needs to even out the bleach blonde hair with the dark eyebrows.

I feel bad for Chrissy. My parents were overprotective in HS too and her dad totally embarassed her in front of Clay. She was getting annoying though with all her cell phone conversations with her dad.. "Daddy no, Daddy please..". She seems much more down-to-earth though than Allie.

As for Clay.. so-called boy-next-door who invited slutty Allie over instead of wholesome Chrissy!! :mad:

I can totally relate to Chrissy....that is how my parents were in HS too--especially my mom!! UGH..it was annoying.

One of my sisters lives in Newport Beach, I wonder if she knows any of them? hmmm..must ask her!

I can't decide if I like the show or not. They all just seem so immature.

Laguna was very immature too. I mean I think Chrissy is as mature as LC was when it all began.

And how about Chrissy's parents? They are EXTREME. I mean my 'rents were overprotective and all, but they're just too much.

True, maybe I just didn't notice Laguna's immaturity because I was younger then too.

Agreed on Chrissy's parents, that poor girl. I'm having trouble paying attention to Allie's scenes cuz I'm so overwhelmed by her dark eyebrows and bleach blonde hair.

And the frizz of her hair. Yikes. I KNOW these girls have flat irons. But I guess when your hair is totally fried there's not much you can do about it.

CHRISSY. GROW SOME BALLS. PLEASE.

It took me a season and a half before I got into Laguna and I have a feeling it'll be the same with NH.

If, and that's a strong IF, I continue watching this -- it'll only be because of Clay. I cringe at the thought of him being at least 10 years younger than me! :eek:

At least they have better boys to look at. LB3 had a bunch of woofs.

Seriously, I don't remember boys looking like him when I was in high school. And he's a JUNIOR!!! So that makes him how old? Like 16?

I think that the Newport Harbor chicks are kinda woofy themselves compared with like Audrina and Whitney and the ladies form LB who moved onto the hills.

Agreed. Even I have to wonder if Chrissy's got some injections in those lips or if she's just descended from fish.

I asked my sister if she's watching and she said "Can't. I felt my IQ depreciating" LOL

But I'll probably watch anyway.

I definitely don't remember the guys looking like that when I was in high school either (granted, it was only 4 years ago) but I am directing a play right now with a bunch of high schoolers and there is one who DEFINITELY makes me wonder if he got held back about...five times. Heh.

I tired to look at the websites, but I couldn't find any info.

I know Chrissy is in a sorority, and I heard she's a Pi Beta Phi. Is that true?
