Entertainer, Businessman Griffin Dies

The Associated Press LOS ANGELES — Merv Griffin, the big band-era crooner turned impresario who parlayed his "Jeopardy" and "Wheel of Fortune" game shows into a multimillion-dollar empire, died Sunday. He was 82.
