I don't agree that the 32-year-old man should be charged with anything. He seems to be the only adult who stayed behind and saved this kid's life -- I'm reading between the lines to arrive at that conclusion, but it seems to me that all the other adults got the hell out of dodge with a gunshot six-year-old in the house.

i dont like leaving my 6 year old in the house alone while i run to my car...but i guess if you gotta take a walk, you gotta take a walk.:mad:

The article did say that all the adults in the house, except the 32 year old, fled the house which seems to indicate that they weren't alone. However, one has to wonder why everybody fled... drugs? other weapons? warrants? Doesn't sound like the healthiest place for kids in the first place!
