Hello!!

I'm a hopeless Idealist/Romantic/Dreamer. Are you???!!! Sometiems I feel like I'm truly hopeless--none of my friends are really like me! It's like I've feasted on fairytales or something http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/biggrin.gif. I totally have a dream about meeting a total sweetheart in college, whom I will marry, and have 2 beautiful kids with. And then I want to live in Utopia or something! http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/biggrin.gif

My friends always tell me that sometimes I have my head stuck in Cloud Nine LOL...and that sometimes I'm just too Idealist! They say that I just expect the best outta everyone, and I should be more careful about ppl stepping on my toes!

Who else is like this? Looking forward to some replies!

There is nothing wrong with being a dreamer or being a hopeless romantic. I am both of those. I'm just like you...looking for my sweetheart in college, wanting to get married, have kids...the whole nine yards. Unfortunately...I'm stuck in the real world for right now. TOO BUSY to date or even think of anything remotely close. I've always been a dreamer though...and I'm damn proud of it too!!!!!!

much like the indomitable billy, i am an idealist/champion - i get a little carried away w/ the idealist aspect, especially in chapter and the like, but whatever - it's a good way to live most of the time.

I too am a dreamer and an idealist. And I often do think about that guy that I'll meet in college and then marry when we graduate and have kids with him. Because, let's face it, it isn't that far fetched, think of how many people share that same story of college sweethearts...my parents are a perfect example, and so is my older sister.
We are young, and it's our job to dream!

Tigergirl, I'm not saying that it's bad to be a Dreamer, Idealist...I'm proud to be one! Yeah, I'm all for the romantic stuff. I'm totally idealist--like you, I always expect the best outta ppl...am always surprised when they act otherwise!
