3,000
I know from an old Delta that Auburn was the first chapter to initiate 2,000 brothers. Followed by Purdue.
Anyone know if a chapter has hit 3,000 yet? |
We'll be there soon! We're in the 2570's. I don't know who is the biggest, I know Gamma Upsilon is up there, but there's got to be some heavy hitters above us. It was pretty cool, one of my friends was able to meet the man that was 2500 pin numbers below him. He was in his 90's. It's an amazing picture, that speaks about the history of our chapter, and how we have a legacy to uphold.

Wow, that's awesome yoiu guys are at such a high badge number.
I bet Ole Miss is up there. I believe they are a 200 man house, that has to help shoot you up in badge numbers. |
WOW 3000.... So my chapter is closing in on 300 in 2 or 3 years. We just had our 15 year reunion last year. 3000 is amazing.

So, my question is...when it comes to numbers, does it matter what your chapter has done in the past or do you pretty much start over whenever you re-colonize?
|
I'm pretty sure you would take up badge numbers where you left off in the past when you re-colonize. I've never heard of a chapter starting all over from 0.

So I was bored at work (as usual) and did a check on nationals to see where Auburn is at:
Beta Theta #2653 + 22 Candidates = BT #2675 Assuming they all get initiated. Purdue (Beta Zeta) is in the 2000's Ole Miss (Epsilon Xi) is in the 2200's. Who else to check..... |
Bama (Theta) is in the 2200's.
|
Mizzou (Rho) is in the 2200's.
|
Okie State (Epsilon Epsilon) is in the 2200's
Looks Like Arkansas (2500's) and Auburn (2600's) are the front runners, unless there is a badass that I have missed.... (Surprisingly, nationals didn't have Kansas' (Nu) infomation up..??) |
