Best non-letter nicknames
 

Help me out if I missed any. Non "letter" nicknames:

- Lambchops (LXA)
- Squids (KS)
- Snakes (SN)
- Sigs (SX)
- Pikes (PKA)

- Deke (DKE)
- Dukes, Ducks (DU)
- FIJI (PGD)

I can't think of Sorority ones for some reason. Anyone?

"Fuzzies" - ΑΞΔ

Along the same lines as Teke and Deke, there's Zete (Zeta Psi, pronounced "Zate").

Our Epsilon Epsilon chapter at Emporia State University goes by the nickname Apples.

AGR = Aggers (agricultural fraternity)

We always call LXA "lambs" at my school.

Delta Sigma Phi has the funniest nickname. About half of the campus calls them "Digs". I originally heard that this was because they had a reputation for burying their pledging in the sand. Not sure if its true, but they hate the nickname and try to promote "Delta Sig" instead.

Alpha Rho Lambda (Latina sorority) also goes by "Apples."

Sometimes us Beta Sigma Phi's go by "Bee's". As in Busy Beta Bees.:)

SNAKEY K! That may be the funniest and most awesome nickname we have. I'd never heard it before reading Jen's site so I LOL'd pretty hard.

Hrmm... off the top of my head:

Alpha Chi Rho - "Crow"
Phi Mu Delta - "Mudhouse"
Tau Epsilon Phi - "Tep"

When I attended there...a whole lotta years ago...(early 1980s)

there was a local fraternity "Beta Phi Omega" and we all called them the
"Bar Flies".
