Phi Mu Chapter closed.... :(
 

Sorry to crash your board, but I just found out that the Arkansas State University chapter of Phi Mu closed down. One of my dearest friends was initated there, and I am really sad for her. She is in her last year and her beloved sorority is gone...

Why?

Apparently they didn't have the numbers to keep the chapter open. Apparently there were only 5 girls left when some of the other sororities had as many as 100 girls. I do know some of the other groups had a larger number of local alumnae which certainly can't hurt...

The Phi Mu alums in the area are really active and offered tons of support to the chapter...however...college girls will not always listen!

I do hope to see them re-colonize in the future!
