R Thread Codes

So, Fellow Voyeurs, what do you like to see used as the "codes" for the various sororities in R threads? We've seen so many - Candy, Countries, Jewels, Colors, Dogs, etc - but do you have a favorite? Or a suggestion for some eager PNM?

Discuss.

Cocktails.

That one girl who started using condom brands was awesome, until she wimped out.;)

Schedule I narcotics.

"I went to Cocaine for philanthropy day, and they were so energetic! They all talked so fast and were so sociable! However, some of them seemed pretty arrogant, kind of like they were... I dunno, invincible?"

"I was dropped from MDMA for prefs which sucks because I thought they were just a really chill, feel good sorority. But the good news is I get to go back to Methamphetamine which I loved! Key*Key is president! They were just so crazy, all tired and wired from lack of sleep."

And so on.

I think Senusret I should assign all the code names from now on.

Everything else is just lame.

lol...... yeah.... good times, good times.

I don't like the codes. I'd rather wait until they come back and post it all at once-- and read the story once recruitment is over with the real names... the codes get too confusing!!!

Faith4Keep 07-31-2007 03:16 PM

I agree, codes are confusing! :(

But if there must be a code I prefer simple things like colors, animals, maybe shapes? lol... maybe even numbers. I find that anything that are people's names, designers, etc. are very difficult for me to follow... I'm better with things that I can relate with (the aforementioned).

I am glad I am not the only one.

Panic! At the Disco song/album titles.

Those would make for the longest rush thread EVER.

Wow. I love that. Does it come in poster size?

Codes for the group names confuse me but I think it's more a question of the number of groups rather than the codes.

I'd really like the threads to be posted after recruitment is over so that they could use real chapter names. If you're going to reveal the key at the end, you aren't really sparing anyone's feelings or being tactful in a way that using them throughout wouldn't.

When I opened this thread, I hoped it would be about new abbreviation codes, like R for rush or recruitment. I'm hoping of IDOC for "it depends on the campus" which really is the answer to most questions.

Can I get a bid as a junior? IDOC.
I have a 2.9; will I get a bid? IDOC.

It's no, DITY, but . . .

carnation 07-31-2007 05:41 PM

But you know that if people posted their R threads right after R, then we'd hear a lot of griping because some folks don't like retro threads. I am not kidding here.

They're welcome to find the door and not let it hit them in the derriere* http://img.tfd.com/dict/EA/645D9-derriere.gifon the way out... it's a message board!
