Vineyard Vines Custom Pi Phi totes

A girl from your W&L chapter is spearheading this, bless her heart! :)

I'm the W&L girl who did the order - the totes turned out really well, and I think I'm going to get another order together in the next month because I've had numerous emails asking about the bags! The final count was 88 which wouldn't have been possible without three other chapters placing orders, so I'm really excited that this was a Pi Phi thing and not just a VA Theta thing.

Would you think about one of the other designs this time or would you go with the same one? VV is good about initial orders of under 100 but then want gigantic orders for second runs. That might be avoided if a new design is developed.

I'm definitely considering one of the other designs. I think I'll do a vote again once I get a basic website up and running but exclude the design that was ordered this time from the voting.

Here's the website I'll be using for the totes this go-round. It's nothing fancy, but I think it will simplify things and make it easier to get the word out instead of relying exclusively on Facebook and word of mouth. http://vathetavpa.googlepages.com/home

Hey everyone - I'm getting another tote order together. I'm going to place the order with VV on Monday, February 25, so if you're interested in ordering, we'll be going with design #1 this time. You can choose from the pink, periwinkle, or green backgrounds - just let me know which one you want (all the totes will be design #1, just with different background colors). The totes are $70 each, unless you place a group order of 5 or more and then they're $65 (shipping is much less expensive if I can group the totes). VV takes 6-8 weeks to make the totes, so you'd get them around mid-April. If you definitely want to order, send a check (made out to me) to my chapter house: 6 Frank Parsons Way, Lexington, VA, 24450. Make sure you include the address you want your tote mailed to and contact information (an email address is ideal), and feel free to email me if you have any questions (migletsj@wlu.edu). If you know of anyone who might be interested, please pass this information or the website address along to them!
PPL,
Julia

What is the design? My eyes are old and can't make it out on any of the pictures. I see the 3 letters but not the pink blur. My daughter's original one is looking a bit worn so she may be getting a replacement as a surprise.

bevinpiphi 06-10-2010 03:02 PM

It looks like the pink blur is two crossed arrows.
It's super cute, anyway.

CutiePiPhi 06-11-2010 05:37 PM

Bevinpiphi is right. The blur is two crossed arrows. I think one has tiny dots and the other has tiny stripes.
